VISION, PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The main purpose of the Association is to be the organizing body for all activities, events, functions, and other businesses to benefit the members of the Association.
The Association will:
1. Lead our people to live life in all its fullness, through soul, mind and body and be successful in their life style as a citizen of New Zealand
2. Lead and encourage our people to live by Biblical Principle and moral standards of life that is based from the bible as our source and to organize church services and activities for the benefit of its members;
3. Organise inter-ethnic and religious faith gathering in New Zealand and internationally
4. To influence and encourage our children, teenagers and adults to be positive contributors to our New Zealand society. The main areas of influence will be the seven mind moulders of the nation which include:
• Arts and entertainment / sports
• Business / commerce
• Church
• Media
• Education
• Family
• Government
5. Organise cultural activities of the Ba Province including sharing and teachings of dialects, customs, traditions, arts, and other culture forms;
6. To run boot camps for cultural learning and performing Arts and outreach within New Zealand and beyond.
7. To provide information to members in the areas of employment, education, business, immigration, sports, housing, family problems, counselling, translation and others as they may arise from time to time;
8. Develop its business and commercial enterprise that will benefit the Association and its members
9. Raise funds and generate income through events activities and from funding opportunities;
10. To provide members with a central meeting place for sporting, cultural, educational, religious and other purposes;
11. To liaise with Government Departments and other organisations and agencies who may assist the work of the association;
13. To give orientation and /or assist members to settle and adapt to New Zealand way of life while at the same time nurturing and cultivating the heritage traditions of their origins;
14. To encourage our people to take up employment opportunity of their choice to, contribute to the growth of the economy in New Zealand
15. To raise and release women in leadership and train youths of today to be future leaders of tomorrow
16. To promote awareness about constitutional government and parliamentary democracy in our community
17. To educate our people about the rule of law, social justice, equality and media freedom.

MEMBERSHIP

1. Luve Ni Yasana Ko Ba – Any person who has permanent residence or citizenship or who is legally resident in New Zealand, can be a financial member of the association.
2. ‘Vasu’ and ‘Kawa’ or vakawati mai- Any person who hold a permanent residence or citizenship or who is legally in New Zealand can also be a financial member of the association.
3. Any other person from other provinces in Fiji including a non-indigenous Fijian and or person of other nationality in New Zealand who is biblically married as man or woman of a member who qualifies under clause 1 or 2 above is entitled to be an elected member of the executive committee with the approval of the executive committee.
4. Register or I Vola Ni Yaca shall be kept by the association which shall contain the following:

(a) Full names of all members of the Association
(b) The name of their ‘i tokatoka’ (family unit), ‘mataqali’ (landowning unit), ‘yavusa’ (clan), ‘koro’ (village), and ‘tikina’ (Fijian district);
(c) The full address and contact details of all members of the Association;
(d) ‘Vasu’ and ‘Kawa’ shall submit to be written in this book their full names, and the relevant details of their link to the Ba Province;
(e) All other interested members shall submit to be written in this book their full names and other personal details as they see fit to be submitted for the purpose of identification.
